Shopping as a spoonie

Shopping at a ‘mall’ or ‘shopping centre’ can be hard even for the average Joe so I doubt it will come as any surprise that as a spoonie it is a big deal. Don’t get me wrong I like seeing all the new stuff and the change of environment but the energy it takes is enormous.

First up is something you may not have even thought of when it comes to shopping; it is the getting there. Is it the bus? Is it the car or maybe you’re lucky and someone is driving you. Even more important than transport is to figure out what you need and make sure you go to the right centre for what you need because you might not be out again for a while. If that means going farther a field or skipping your favourite mall then so be it.
